What time will my paper be delivered?
As with our current Saturday and Sunday editions, your newspaper will arrive at your doorstep by 6am every day beginning August 11th. If you don’t receive your newspaper, please call our circulation customer service at 253-3700 and they will get a newspaper right out to you.
When time will the paper be available in stores and in racks?
The Citizen will be available by 6am in all of our stores and newspaper racks. The newspaper may be available earlier in some locations due to when the carrier is available to drop off that day’s newspaper however all newspapers must be delivered by 6am.
How will this change the content of the paper?
The Citizen will remain the leader in delivering local, Cayuga County news. The only difference will be that it will be delivered earlier in the morning.
Will this affect the price of the paper?
The Citizen’s change to a morning publication will not affect the price of the newspaper.
I have a weekend only subscription; will this change the time in which I receive my newspaper?
No. The Saturday and Sunday delivery times will stay at 6am.
In switching to a morning publication, wouldn’t The Citizen be missing stories that happen in the morning?
The vast majority of events that happen in Cayuga County are well into the afternoon and evening. If a breaking news event should occur in the morning, we will be following the story with our website, auburnpub.com.
